Alice M. Jones

Alice M. Jones, 54, Of Uhrichsville passed away suddenly at her home on April 30, 2013. Born in Dennison on November 22, 1958 she was a daughter of the late James Jacob and Dorothy May (McKain) Coen.

Alice attended Indian Valley South and was a self employed truck driver with her husband. She was an avid doll collector but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Surviving Alice is her husband of over 37 years, Harry L. Jones of the home; children, Donnie Ray (Kimmy) Coen of Uhrichsville, Sissy Coen (companion, Tracie) of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Donnie Ray Coen, Jr. of the home, Makeesa, Merisa, Marleesa, Jimmy, Zohie, and Katrina; brothers, Timothy (Becky) Coen of Dennison, James “Tink” (Cindy) Coen of Uhrichsville, Mick (Penny) Coen of Dennison, and Karl McMullen of Gilmore; sisters, Pat (Eric) Gilmore of Uhrichsville and Maryann (Bill) Devore of Dennison; a friend, Janie Manghese; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy and Donald Coen, and Earl McMullen; sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Sonny Beal; and sister-in-law, Carla McMullen.

Services for Alice, officiated by Rev. Leonard Porter, will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will following in Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville. Visitation will be on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family to help defray her final expenses.
