Ada Margaret Clark, 94, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia. Born April 4, 1922 in Harrison County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Reverdy and Golda Faye (Gray) Reynolds.
Ada was a 1940 graduate of Freeport High School before studying at Canton Actual Business College which prepared her for her 27 year career at the former United Bank in Uhrichsville. She had previously worked for the Scio Pottery and Diebold. She loved to cook, sew, crochet, garden and can, and enjoyed remodeling homes. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, and with her dear pets.
On December 16, 1975, Ada married Forrest Leroy “Frosty” Clark with whom she enjoyed 28 years of marriage until his passing on December 22, 2003. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Emert Reynolds; sister, Lelia Snodgrass; nephews, Joe Jr., James and Charles Burris; stepchildren, Reagen and Randall Clark and Betty (Richard) Beamer; a step-grandson; and a step-great-grandson. She is survived by a niece, Carolyn (Dale) Haas; many great-nieces and great-nephews; stepdaughters, Raylene Little and Nellie (Frank) Hunt-Hursey; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Services, officiated by Rev. Mark Unrue, will be held on Tuesday, November 22, at 11am in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Greenmont Union Cemetery in Freeport. Visitation will be 4-6pm on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and the Trinity Hospital Twin City Foundation.
