Tawny Ann Davis, 57, of Pearl River, Louisiana, died peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 after a lengthy and courageous battle with breast cancer. Born October 15, 1965, in Dennison, Ohio, Tawny was the only daughter of Richard “Dick” Davis of Florida and Sally (Green) Davis-Karn of Arizona who passed away in 2013.
Tawny graduated from Indian Valley North High School in 1984. She is remembered from her hometown with love and affection by her former classmates and her family and friends. All of whom remember her fondly as being a bright spirit and a friend to all.
Tawny moved to Louisiana in 1985 where she met the love of her life, Keith Martin Bruno who preceded her in death on January 15, 2019. Tawny was a homemaker and proud mom raising her three daughters. For some time, she was a store manager at an Ups and Downs. She had great styling ability which extended to her person. Her makeup and choice of clothing was almost always perfect which resulted in her outward beauty matching the beauty she radiated from within.
In addition to her daughters, Skye, Savannah, and Sophia Bruno and her father, Tawny is survived by her two brothers, Kirk (Cheryl) Davis from Texas and Kelly (Justine) Davis from North Carolina, several nieces and nephews, and her extended family which includes her step-mother, Ginny Davis and step-brothers, Dana, Mike, Chris and Matthew.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
